Promo International (Wickford Essex UK)
Design Manager 

Responsible for leading the design studio. Establish design direction and vision across all projects. Coaching and monitoring a team of five designers, job planning, resource forecasting, personnel mentoring & development

 

Design products in line with client briefs, and develop creative and innovative product concepts. Use an original and creative approach to each brief, providing the most efficient solution possible, balancing the implications of manufacture with considerations such as budget, aesthetic appeal and brand development.

 

Communicate effectively within the team and with other departments, suppliers and clients. Direct link with buyers and merchandisers based in UK and far East. Helping drive brand strategy, contribute to the marketing of Promo International to its clients. Creation and implementation of design documentation: briefing process, creative design guidelines and prototypes inspection form.

 

Develop from ideas to reality. Generate accurate product specifications (stipulating: dimensions, materials, manufacturing process, assembly, artwork positional, colour reference...). Liaise with Cad designers and merchandisers, evaluate all samples and prototypes prior to production launch.

Junior designer

Create wide range of bespoke promotional product ranging from: on-trade barware to beauty accessories, also including homeware, bags, clothing, baby products and much more... For many clients such as P&G, Unilever, Coca-Cola, Bacardi Group, Brown Forman, Toni and Guy, Bounty parenting club and other.

 

Develop concepts answering the client's expectation and consumers needs while keeping in line with the brand aesthetic and philosophy. Ensure feasibility and communicate effectively the manufacturing process and product specifications.
 

 

Kamiliz Design  
Freelance Designer

Work with various associations and small companies , producing communication tools and brand identity such as logotypes, posters, flyers, restaurant menus.
 

 

Barré et associés (Lyon - Limonest, France) 6 month internship.
Junior Product Designer 

As an Intern I had the opportunity to work across both individual and team projects, assisting to briefing, brainstorm, project updates and various company meeting. I created market benchmark, trend and mood board, developed new concept and provided presentation ranging from hand sketches to CAD, with fully rendered visual made with Illustrator and Photoshop. I developed several packaging, sport and children’s products for brands such as Unilever Comfort, Michelin, Babolat, Canson, Perrier.

Junior Product Designer

As an Intern I had the opportunity to work across both individual and team projects from the conceptual stage to the realistic rendering. I created marketing analysis, trend book and mood board and my projects varied from the conception of new packaging in card and glass bottles (for Florette, Nestle, Marie and Sait Gobain), the re-design of an expresso machine and its tableware (for Malongo), new radiator concept (for Atlantic), and a colour and trend survey for Bic.
